A friend of mine gave me this old family trunk to work on and have my “way” with it.  He gave me a head start on ideas as the trunk once belonged to his parents, and he wanted to incorporate family photos with it as well.  He is a cosmopolitan kind of guy, so I decided the standard “vintage” look was not fitting with his style.  I upcycled this cool item into a “Stainless Steel” with a past, added some casters for mobility, and we are traveling again!
What once was used for utilatarian uses, is now part of his decor and history:

I'm going to have to figure out a way for your post updates to show up in my mail. I think you're in my Google Reader which I never look at.

You are so kind to always comment on my blog. I love it! So look out — when I come to CA you'll have a houseguest!!

We'll see how long the restaurant phase lasts with my guys. It's been a couple years already.

Love your trunk magic! Are you working on anything else cool?
