Yes, I am self promoting today, and I have no shame. It is my day! I am having breakfast with this girl:
This is my friend Holly. We have been friends since we were 4. As of today, we will have been friends for 38 years. I will let you do the math.Â
We were even room mates at college for two years and we still love eachother!Â
We have a long standing tradition that we get together for breakfast for our birthdays.Â
It isn’t always right on my birthday, but we got lucky this year. 
What I would really like for my birthday this year is:
Some thing like this, a beautiful, and horribly expensive Antique Sofa for my front room.
That probably won’t happen, but I will for sure get lots of love from these people:
PS My daughter is making my favorite “family traditional” birthday cake. I am blessed.
