Happy Friday!  I am still recovering (get it?) from “le upholstery project“.  I enjoyed having a little time between projects and took some time to work on my home! Something I know many of us love to do, but don’t always have the time.Â
I worked on the “boffice”, I borrowed this term from Lisa at “A Vintage Vine”, who is working on her “cloffice”, closet office.  It is my office bathroom.Â
The original paint treatment was something along the lines of caked poop meets wine cellar gone bad, and I don’t drink!  But, I know a bad “faux” treatment when I see one. This was one of my first “experiments”, that I didn’t correct………for 7 years.
Friends of ours were moving to Manhattan and they had to shed 99% of their furniture.

Free furniture!Â
I really did not need another dresser, but I had always wanted to try my hand
and lots of colorant straight out of the bottle.Â
Thanks K! Have a lovely Easter weekend!

Oh my goodness! That shelf is so lovely! I have a dresser to do sometime soon and now you have me considering to take out some of the drawers. I would love your input on the piece (on the top of my blog)
WOW!! That's beautiful!! You make me want to redo my dresser with missing drawers!! And I'm sooo envious of the chalk paint. I want to try it to!!
Have fun and Happy Easter to you!!
Wow Karen, that remake is fabulous. Did your friends want it back after they saw what you did? LOL. Have a great weekend.
That looks amazing! I love it when you think you know what the redo is going to look like (from the before picture) then you scroll down and it's nothing like what you were thinking and it's way BeTTeR. Well done my friend 😉 Thanks for hosting again.
Hey! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a sweet comment! I just linked up to your party!

Oh girl…..I am loving that “free dresser”…Using a mallet, knocking things down/out can be so theraputic! I am liking your second choice on paint color too (boffice)!! I am always having to redo..so you only needing to, in 7 yrs., makes me giddy!
