How to Make a Wood Pallet Planter. Dress up your Garden With Junk!
Do you hang out behind warehouses? Do you see lots of pallets stacked in piles? Ever wonder what you could do with them? This is my take on a Wood Pallet Planter.
Start with Small Terra Cotta Pots, I went with 8, you can do however many you decide will look good hanging on our pallet.
I painted them cream with chalkboard paint around the rims
I did a dry brush finish on the pallet, with my free to me “Google Paint” from a client.
I used a board from another Pallet as the support and hung it on a fence post
Then I drilled holes in the places where I wanted to hang the pots. I used a screw and bolt to hold the pot in place.
I used a masonry bit to drill holes in each pot. I did it a bit lower than the rim so overtime, the pot wouldn’t become weak from the hole to close to the rim.
I filled each pot with my favorite annuals, and voila, I have a new, “free to me” Garden wall hanging!
Who knew a Wood Pallet Planter could Dress up your Garden with Junk!
I marked with arrows how the support works, four long wood screws, straight into the fence post. This piece isn’t going anywhere until I decide to take it down.
I love the way it dresses up what was a blank space of fence, now when we dine at my “free to me”
Plank Table
We will have something lovely to admire, besides each other……
Hope you are inspired to go make a Wood Pallet Planter and Dress up your Garden With Junk!

cartierbraceletlove The only reason this particular debris was chosen over the millions of other bits, was because it did look like a religious symbol. If they claim no religious intent then display it upside down and see how quickly it becomes religious. I support anything that will restrict the display of one single type of religion. And while you are at it, get all the highway workers to remove all those illegal crosses erected as monuments along our roadsides. If you want to put up a cross where someone died, try the front lawn of your local hospital.
