I love this link Party at Junker Newbie. She calls it “would you buy it Wednesday. It is so fun to see the creative, and often hilarious things that all of us “redouxers” out there buy, haul off the street, and dumpster dive for.Â
Here is my submission for the week. I am not quite sure if it wants to be a trophy for people with bad taste, or just a candle holder…….I just know I had to have it. They let me take it home for only a few dollars. Ideas?

I am working on some candle holders too! I posted the befores on my Flea Market Makeovers blog last night. Looking forward to seeing what you do to yours.

Oh I love this! I never pass up fun and funky candle holders! I would probably paint those brass/metal parts a glossy black!
Oh that is fun! I think I would paint the ugly brass “oil rubbed bronze” that Rustoleum makes. I love the shape of this piece!

When I was reading this post…..I kept think of the nursery rhyme…..”A butcher, a baker, a candle stick maker”!!! Personally, I love this and “yes”, I would have bought it too! Since it looks heavy…it can always become a paper weight!!!
I see in the crystal thingies (visualize a gypsy fortune teller here)…a possibly very cool lamp!
I agree the gold should be painted, and I love oil rubbed bronze! There are other soft metallics in the Rustoleum that might look great…
