New Dresser, Un, Deux, Trois
Another of my major bargain scores!
This piece was found along side it’s cousin, “Hemingway in Paris”.
Luckily, humble little piece did not come with the green sludge that was originally found on Hemingway’s drawer pulls.
I have a feeling this modest little dresser was content to stay home with the help and wasn’t traveling around visiting Spain and attending bull fighting matches.
However, humble does not mean you can’t still be elegant.
A coat of ASCP Pure White, a little Bronze Glaze artfully applied here and there, some new shoes (he had no feet), and to help us learn to count in French, numbers were applied to the drawers. Ah, he is so happy to be so elegantly dressed now. Here he is in his finery:
I think instead of Monsiuer Help, he has now been promoted to Monsieur Elégant!
