Happy almost weekend!! Is it just me, or does time suddenly turn into Warp Speed when the end of the school year is approaching. I have never looked forward to summer break as much as I am looking forward to it this year. One more week friends, and I am FREE, I mean, my kids are free, free to play that is, or to anyone who wants to have them over……
Let’s get to the fabulous projects. Here are some of the stars of last week:
I am crowing Karin at “Art is Beauty” the Graphics on Furniture Queen, to be shared equally with Kristy at 4 the Love of Wood.
Karin found this table for nuthin at Goodwill, it was going to be thrown out!!! She didn’t even have to paint it, just added the adorable graphic. Love it. She also used some free chairs, and covered them with an old vintage sheet. The whole ensemble is just adorable.
Next is this beautiful dresser REDOUX from Thrifty Inspirations. Hard to believe, this is her first dresser!!! She knocked it out of the ball park. Great work!is is her first dresser!!! She knocked it out of the ball park. Great work!
I am all about Turquoise these days, and this desk from who else, Refresh, Restyle is the Bee’s Knee’s. The top to the knobs to the color itself. LOVE!
Just when you think you have seen all there is to see with Painters Drop Cloths and furniture, you haven’t seen this. Fiona from Lilyfield Life, shows you how to make a woven, upholstered seat, using painters drop cloth. Blows me away it is so good.
Everyone, especially moi loves the Union Jack on furniture, but The House at Bluebird Lane just upped it about 100 notches. She took a very ho hum dresser and did it in the American Flag, Betsy Ross Style. I want to make my own!
I must be seeing Red today, this dresser from , is just, ADORABLE. This is from Decorating Insanity. The girls at this blog are amazingly talented. Check out all their finishes when you stop by to see this dresser in more detail.
