First week of Summer break! It felt like this: WHOOSH! Summer hasn’t slowed down my schedule just yet, more like I caught up on all the appts. I had postponed until my kids were out and trying to finish the last few contract jobs on my schedule before I am FREE!
We are heading out to the beach today, so no work today!!
And it is time to announce the winner of the Shabby Apple $75 gift card giveaway! And the winner is! Shelley Gajus!!
Congratulations Shelley! I am sure you will put that gift card to good use! Remember, you can hop right to Shabby Apple from my site, their button is on my side bar!
I look forward each week to seeing all the talent you have shared with me. Here are some of the features from last week:
I am constantly in awe of all the Anthropology, Ballards Design, Ikea and many other popular retailers knock offs I see. This knock off from Hymns and Verses is like nothing I have seen. The tutorial is awesome too, she used an old plastic Iced Tea Bottle to make this lantern! You have to see the how-to.
I love a fresh look on an old Chair and I love Slip Covers! This one from SewafineSeam shows a great tutorial for a chair that I probably would have passed by if I saw it at a Thrift Store! What a difference a Slip Cover makes!
I love chalkboards, and I love this mini ones especially!! One of the clever ladies at Elizabeth and Company made these. They are so cute!
You know me at that Union Jack……I can’t help myself, I love them all. This one is especially crisp and perfect. Someday, someday I will make one. I just have to find some more patience to make all those lines so crisp! This one from A Girl and a Brush is PERFECTION!
I am so in love with furniture in the garden, and especially if it a piece of furniture made into a planter. This chair from A Little Bit O’Shizzle is da bomb. Check out that beautiful CeCe Paint finish too. Shelly is a master at using their colors.
I am so thrilled to feature a blogger NEWBIE! As crowned by the fabulous Miss Shannon at Fox Hollow Cottage. This is from My Passion for Decor. Wow, this is one talented girl. The dresser is beautiful.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated. I wish I could feature so many more, but time is short, and my kids are getting anxious to take off for the sand and sun!
Be sure to visit my fantabulous Link Party Friends and link up at their sites too! Happy weekend!
If you were featured this week, feel free to grab my “Celebre” Button from this page as well.

I’m really loving the theme/design of your web site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility issues? A number of my blog readers have complained about my website not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Safari. Do you have any suggestions to help fix this problem?
Greetings I am so glad I found your weblog, I really found you by error, while I was browsing on Digg for something else,
Anyhow I am here now and would just like to say thanks for a tremendous post and a
all round exciting blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to go through it all
at the minute but I have saved it and also included
your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read
a great deal more, Please do keep up the great job.
Hello Dear, are you actually visiting this website on a regular basis, if so after that you
will without doubt take pleasant experience.
Hello would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re using? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 different
internet browsers and I must say this blog loads
a lot faster then most. Can you suggest a good web hosting provider
at a reasonable price? Kudos, I appreciate it!
