Link Party #63 and Mes Préférés

Uncategorized

Bonjour friends and happy “ALMOST WEEKEND”!!!  I have a BIG sale this weekend at Paris Flea, wish me luck.  I hope to check back on my space next week and see it completely cleaned out! For details about this fun sale in you live in my area, click HERE.

For today’s features, all I can say is WOW and WOW!!!!!!!  I either need to clone myself, or clone Emma so we can both try out so many more of these amazing projects you share with me each week.  Thank you so much, it is my favorite time of the week.

I am so sorry if I did not leave you a comment, please know I look at every link, but with kids out of school, working, and running my little blog, there just isn’t enough time.  I so appreciate each and every person who comes here and shares their project, truly this is from the heart.

With that said, let’s get on to “Mes Preferes”!!!!

You know I love a good tutorial, and my friend Jesse from Nine Red does the best tutorials on the blogosphere.  List of supplies, great pictures, and a total walk through to reproduce what he has done.  I love this technique for color wash, with the bold red interior!

Have you seen Julia’s work from 551 East Furniture Design?  You should be following her.  She does the most beautiful furniture, and has many great tutorials on her blog, including her recent week of upholstered chairs, not to miss!  I love what she shared, this High Boy Dresser, heavily distressed so so much of the gorgeous wood still shines through.

I see new ideas for scrap wood flower boxes each week, and I love all of them.  I love this one, because it is easy, and it is made from wood pallets.  Something I have (ahem) wayyyyyy too much of around here.  I have finally broken myself of the habit of bringing home more.  This is the #1 item I find at Dumpsters.  Go figure? This amazing project is from Camelot Art Creations, comes with a great tutorial as well!

I have several old headboards around these parts, and I always “intend” to make them into benches. With this awesome tutorial from PJH Designs, I will have no excuse!!!

Do you have extra cans around your house?  Do you have extra little blingy things from old jewelry?  Then you must see what to do with this from Shannon at Fox Hollow Cottage

You know me and my love affair with the Union Jack.  Every time I see a new interpretation of it, I have to share it!  This from New Again.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Now for “Le Rules”

#1 Please be considerate and take a “Fridays at Redoux” button from my BUTTONS  page to display on your post that you are linking up here.  If you are just joining for the first time, you can go back and add edit an already published post and add link buttons.  Merci!

If you were featured this week, feel free to grab my “Celebre” Button from this page!

After you have linked up, please go visit my fantastic Friday Link Party friends.  They all have wonderful projects linked up that you may not see here, so be sure to hop on over.
