Link Party #71 and Mes Préférés!

Uncategorized

Happy almost weekend.  As you are reading this, I will be on my way to Spokane, Washington for a very fun CeCe Caldwell get together!  There is a wonderful workshop/fundraiser planned for Saturday at Orphaned Decor, can’t wait to learn some new things.

I am so sorry if I have not returned emails, (like any).  It has been a very tough few days.  Thank you to all who emailed and sent sweet messages regarding my Stepfather, “Todd”.  He is doing quite well, the surgery was very serious, and the fact that he is alive today is nothing short of a miracle.  We are all extremely grateful.  Until last night, I wasn’t sure whether I was heading to Utah or Washington.  Thank goodness all is well, and life is returning somewhat to normal.

In addition to the trial we just endured, I also had to get my space ready at Paris Flea Market!  I have a HUGE new space. It is in the center of the warehouse part of our building.  It is “open” so I had to get creative with ways to hang and display my things.  I used some of the old doors I had on hand, and made them look even older.  Here is a sampling of what’s for sale if you live local and are planning on attending.  We also have some new consignors, and there was much moving around.  The whole place is looking so fun and new!!

Sometimes being insanely busy can be a good thing.  I needed a lot of distraction these past few days, when life changes so fast, and you don’t know if your loved ones will be with you or not, it is really challenging to think about anything but the problem at hand.  I have HUGE thanks to Emma too who worked with me all day Tuesday and kept me laughing, and my mind occupied.  Emma is amazing, she is not only my “helper” but lately the keeper of my sanity too!

Now, enough troubles and updates, let’s talk about you!!

I love me a fun sign, and sometime the simplest signs are the best.  This sign from Linda at It All Started With Paint is just so fabulous in it’s silly simplicity.  I want to make one for every door in my home.

This is one gorgeous project.  The Decorating Diaries shared this French Wash Tub and used it for an outdoor planter, then showed it off again holding fun odds and ends.  It was blah to begin with, but not when she was finished with it!

This is a gorgeous Redoux.  The piece itself had great “bones”, but it was not in good condition.  Uniquely Chic did a stunning Redoux on this, and it is magazine perfect now!

I LOVE benches, I have a thing for them, I would have them all over my house if I could.  I love even more, benches made from things that were not supposed to be benches.  This adorable bench was made from a headboard, footboard, the railings, and scrap wood.  The paint is so cute, it is what makes this piece.  This is from the creative gals at Mak and Jill

Does anyone here love Ice Cream as much as I do?  I think not.  This sign belongs on my refrigerator.  Wait, no, but I want to make one just like this!  The clever gal at The Concrete Cottage made the stencil using her Silhouette Cameo.  I really am going to buy one now!

Thank you to everyone who linked up!  I am sorry if I didn’t leave a comment, I really try to get to each link, and I am LOVE that you keep sharing your talent with me each week.

Karen, so glad to hear that your step daddy came out of the surgery okay. I know how stressful it is. Recovery isn’t much fun either. If he’s the type of guy who likes to keep busy, he’s gonna have a lot of trouble staying put ! You gotta work on him ! good thoughts continue for you all.

It reduces fats and carb absorption, reduces urge for food, stimulates the metabolism promoting fats burning

You wont find Adiphene in your native pharmacy or some huge
store like Walmart or Walgreens. Adiphene the new weight loss formula is now available with the power of 11 different fat burners to boost weight
loss. Having said that, the study has shown that just about anything that
can maximize the metabolism, also can raise the weight reduction even if the
    human being is just resting.
