Link Party #74 and Mes Préférés!

Uncategorized

It really is Thursday?  This is one of those weeks that have flown by.  My kids (the twins) have parent teacher conferences this week, so they have been out at 1:00 every day……..I have been working like crazy to get ready for next week’s sale at Paris Flea Market, and trying to teach two little people how to study for their very first “finals”.  6th grade.  So many changes!!!

I am ready to check out all the creativity you shared with me last week.  There were so many really, really amazing projects.  Here are some of my favorites:

I LOVE a crib or bed made into a bench.  I definitely want to try my hand at a crib bench.  I have benches on my mind…..This from Shabby Love, is the cutest!

I love a good Chandelier makeover.  I am endlessly amazed at all your talent.  This next redoux doesn’t disappoint!  From The Thrifty Rebel, she took an old Chandelier that was pretty ugly.  Took all the parts apart, reglued some of them, changed things around, then added these adorable Espresso Cups which will hold candles.  It now looks so lovely hanging in her garden!

I love a fun stripey table.  This table from Blue Star Antiques just makes me smile.  I love the color contrasts too!

I have a theme going on here.  How many of us have old metal trays.  Raise your hands, am I counting everyone?  I love what Lake Girl Paints did with hers.  Not only did she make it so cute and stripey, she added rope handles!  You have to see the whole post to really see how cute it is with things on it!

Do you remember the amazing barstool slipcovers that were made by that talented girl at Domestic Imperfection?  Well, she has updated them again.  This time with numbers.  Sometimes a little simple graphic can just put something over the top and this definitely does just that! She has a wonderful tutorial on exactly how to do this too!

Since I was in such a Black phase this week, I thought we could end the week by some serious color.  This is adorable from Pressing On.  She got a steal on the chairs, and painted each one in a fun vibrant color.  Now that is a party!
