It’s my special time of the month again…..

Good Time Charlie

It’s that time of the month again.  I feel scatter brained, my emotions are riding on a roller coaster from high to low, and back to high again.  I start to feel overwhelmed, my family starts to avoid me…..but then I realize this is all normal and happens every month about this time.

It’s time for Paris Flea Market!!!  Isn’t that what you were thinking?  Some day, some day, I will have this under control.

I will not have paint cans covering my counters.  At least it is CeCe Caldwell’s, all natural, no acrylic and no VOC’s so I can easily paint inside.  Especially with the rain storms we have been having.

I will not leave a pile of paint brushes to dry next to the sink on my ever shrinking supply of normal dish towels.  (some of those brushes are Rachel’s from a school project, I have no idea where she gets this need to “paint”)….

I will not have furniture drying in various stages in my kitchen.

And all kinds of projects on my kitchen table….(Will show how to do that lampshade next week!)

The bottles are ALL from non-alcoholic beverages, in case you were wondering….

I will not suffer my Sewing Machine to be tucked away at the kitchen table where PEOPLE are supposed to sit, but can’t because a machine got there first.

And some day, my poor dog Keiki will not feel she has to navigate a series of obstacles just to get to her bed for some rest.

In the meantime, I have a lot of exciting things for my space at Paris Flea Market!  We are all decked out for the holidays.  If you live in the SF Bay Area, we are open next Thursday -Sunday.  December 6th-9th.

Don’t forget to come back at 2:00 PST for the Link Party and Features!!

I’m sorry… all I saw was that stinking cute ruffled lampshade.

Karen, I know the feeling – we are all way to busy. Kinda curious what project you have in mind with the wine bottles!

Call it what ‘ya want so, OK… that’s my new catch phrase here now.
Dad: mom’s in a mood stay away from her.
Mom yelling: WHAT??? IT’S JUST PARIS FLEA TIME.

Oh yes please, I’ll take a lamp shade too! … Seriously, this made me smile. Nice to know I’m not alone. My house looks just like that four times a year. I really don’t think I could do it every month. I’d be a crazy woman for sure. Actually, I might be there already!

So, Karen, all those empties on the table were gathered from someone else and NO alcohol was involved in any of this – that’s your story and you’re stickin’ to it, right? 🙂

My house was the same all of Oct. my husband is still complaining. We live on long Island and I have donated most of the Furniture to Hurricane Sandy victims.

Hello, fellow CeCe Sister! So nice to know that I am not alone!! I have taken to calling it “santa’s workshop” in effort to make myself feel a tiny bit better. Attempted to clear the kitchen table last night for a family dinner…I think we may have ingested a little extra glitter. I keep thinking January will be better…but then I have a whole garage full of treasures waiting to be painted…..

Just remind them that there is a lot of that going around. Don’t take this personally, I am a member of this club, too, and I don’t even do shows or sales.

I hear you Karen. Someday I will have my own space for sewing, painting and crafting too. You really need to see about that warehouse 😉
