Do you feel like you are week behind when Monday is a holiday? I was so happy to have the day off, but it didn’t help my already out of order brain! Luckily, all of you seem to be totally together and sent me the most amazing projects. Thank you!
I HAVE to start with this project from Make Me Pretty Again . I have never seen anything like this done with stain. She drew the flowers on with chalk, then used the stain as a paint. To get the full tutorial, hop on over to see it in all it’s glory. I am so wanting to try this.
You know how much I love a really amazing Redoux. Thrifty Rebel started with a desk and mirror that looked beyond saving. You would not believe how cute it is now. You have to go see her post to see the drawer liners too!
If you missed my post on Old Drawers, new uses, you can see it HERE. This gal from Tattered Tiques has a mind like mine when it comes to drawers. I love how she took these way ugly and kind of gross drawers and made a lovely end table. Have to see the whole post for the full effect!
Does this chair say “sunshine” or what! Much needed for many of us here in the states, especially my friends buried in snow in the Midwest! This is from Evocative Vintage. LOVE that quote.
And to wrap it all up, let’s take a bathroom break…..To Betsy Speert’s page. She shows us that you can use almost anything to make a powder room vanity. Even this gorgeous table. Go check out the post because you will see the top is covered in old decoupaged paper and the sink, well the sink is on my list of coveted items now. So is Kelly’s Vintage Glass Decanter collection (and you know I am a good Mormon girl and don’t drink, but come on, I want one of these! )from Eclectically Vintage, but that is another story for another day.
In the meantime……..Let’s see what you did this week!
Here are a few rules to make the party more fair for all of us:
#1 Please be considerate and take a “Fridays at Redoux” button from my BUTTONS page to display on your post that you are linking up here. If you are just joining for the first time, you can go back and add edit an already published post and add link buttons. Merci!
