Happy Valentines Day friends! I hope you are enjoying the day, regardless of your single or not single status. We can celebrate a day of just LOVE. I am thrilled my link party is on Vday so I can gush about all the projects you shared with me last week that I just LOVE
Lets get going with what you share last week that I LOVE!
Starting with someone I LOVE, Sharon from Elizabeth and Company is one of the sweetest bloggers I know. She has unending talent as she shares at her blog. Today she shared this tutorial for Hymnal Paper Wreath. I know there are many great tutorials for paper wreaths, but Sharon has some secret weapons that make this tutorial stand apart and the whole process super easy.
Let there be light! If you are like me, I am constantly on the hunt for new ways to dress up old lampshades. Lamps are easily found at thrift shops and garage sales, but the shades are always, well a bit shady. Kelly from Eclectically Vintage shares the most original tutorial on updating an old lamp shade I have seen. I cannot wait to try this myself.
This table has been so popular around the blogosphere, and for very good reason! This couple from The Craftiest Woman took an old round top and actually cut and stained pieces of wood, made them into chevron shapes and adhered them to the table. WOW! The chairs are adorable too. Talk about a one of a kind! They even included a very thorough tutorial if you want to try this yourself.
This next project is so unique. Is it an old radio cabinet? Is it a plate holder? It’s both! Cottage Magpie picked this up from a garage sale for $10 and gave it a whole new life, including the cute little curtain. It now resides in her craft room, where I am sure it is feeling right at home.
I can never get enough of buffet redouxs. This from Make Me Pretty Again is a stunner. It was in pretty poor shape when she began, but how she lovingly restored the gorgeous wood and gave it an updated modern look. Go see the post to see the entire transformation.
