I am loving all the signs of Spring I am seeing around the blogosphere. It looks like Spring here too in Northern California, it has been strangely warm! Which is fine, but I would like a little winter too 🙂
I am inspired to break out of the neutrals and bring on the color! Maybe this weekend I will even pull out some Easter decor. It is on my birthday this year, so maybe I will just decorate for Easter and my birthday!
Fabulous shares last week everyone, here is what I am sharing today:
My first is a kitchen redoux. This is from Ashley at Domestic Imperfection. She has the MOST amazing projects. There are tons of unique little items in her kitchen, that are very doable DIY. She only spent $1600 on this kitchen overhaul. Check out the floating shelves.
I love the color Turquoise, it is my go to with my beloved CeCe Caldwell’s paints. I love the redoux of this dresser from Uniquely Yours or Mine. She took a somewhat contemporary dresser and completely changed the look, just with paint. Just another example of how color can totally change the look of furniture.
O.K., I really try to spread the love around and give everyone a chance to shine, but I HAD to share this from Cassie at Primitive and Proper. She repainted her door in a bright pop of color, then did a chalkboard wall surrounding it. I am stealing this idea and hopefully Emma and I can try it out over Spring Break. (Don’t tell Suffering Husband…..)
You know how I love my furniture to be able to roll, and I have a very special affinity for little carts. I LOVE this Bar Cart makeover from Confessions of a Craigslist Junkie. You have to check out the before to really appreciate how cool the new look is.
O.K., ok……I just have to share one more thing from Shelly at A Little Bit O’ Shizzle. This is a brand new CeCe Caldwell’s color, Emerald Isle and she just rocked it!!! She was even sweet enough to send me some samples. I cannot wait to have time to try this out on something. She did a darn good job with the Pantone Color of the year, and it looks so perfectly Springy!
I love the two tone POP of color on this old cabinet from The Painted Piano. Check out the before to see the beautiful transformation.
I so love this color this creative gal came up with. The dresser redoux is just, ahhh, made me sigh. This from Shabby Loco.
And finally, this project just sings “Spring”. From Emmie Loves, she took an old magazine holder and not only gave it a bright cheerful pop of color, but lined the inside with fun paper, and she shows exactly how to do this.
Merci to everyone who linked up. I so appreciate all of you sharing your creations and inspiring me each week.
