Happy Link Party!! Did the week really just happen? I have been running at one million miles per second. (it feels like). Leaving for Utah tomorrow for my niece’s wedding. Yay!!! Making sure I am all set up and there is an abundance of goodies stocked at my space at Paris Flea Market, and putting together all the details for my new workshops!
Phew! Enough about moi, let’s get to you!
I love Jill at Sew a Fine Seam. In fact, I am leaning against one of her pillows I bought from her as I type! I saw these gorgeous HAND MONOGRAMMED pillows she made for another blogger, and I was smitten. Jill will be making some new pillows for my newly slipcovered sectional and chair soon too! LOVE!
I have to admit, I tried Milk paint a long time ago, and I loved it, then sort of forgot all about it! I love the random chippiness of it and that it naturally crackles! Daisy Mae Belle shows a great tutorial on how she painted an ordinary chair. I chose this close up pic so you could see the details.
Kristine at the Painted Hive is very talented gal. You will see things at her blog that you don’t see everywhere else. Such as, this Bamboo chair makeover. She even has a detailed tutorial on how to upholster a drop in seat. The entire project looks so professional, but the instructions are so easy to follow, you could definitely have this in your home.
I had to sneak in a project with a NEW color! This is from Karin at Art is Beauty. She snapped up the new CeCe Caldwell’s “Emerald Isle” color as soon as it made its debut. Look how gorgeous she made this table! Karin is heading to Ireland with her hubby this August, the table is keeping her inspired!
I wish I had time for more features today, but I am making ONE last run to Paris Flea. I wanted to leave you with some junk. That is, how to make this fabulous three-tiered stand from junk! Great tutorial from Tanya at .
