Happy almost weekend friends! You know that feeling when you go out of town, have to hit the ground running Monday morning? You are tired, your brain is not quite up to speed? Throw Daylight Savings into the mix and it completely throws me out of whack. Is it really Thursday? I think I am still stuck on Tuesday.
Maybe I am out of sync because I have spent the last two days buried in my garage, trying to make order out of chaos. We are definitely getting there! Here is progress so far:
That’s enough about moi, lets talk about you! The link party was HUGE last week. Thank you to everyone who shared their creations. Someone asked me at Paris Flea Market how I come up with so many new ideas. I told her it was all the things you share with me at this party. You inspire me and keep pushing me forward. For this I am so grateful.
I get weak in the knees when I see furniture topped with Carrara Marble. Sigh….This cabinet is simply stunning from Uniquely Yours or Mine. The inside is even painted a cheery yellow. LOVE!
I saw something twine and burlappy at Funky Junk Interiors, and I was intrigued, then look what Daisy Mae Belle created? I must make one for myself and some to sell. Super easy tutorial she shares too. This one she made for a wedding. Too cute!
I was really taken with this freebie desk shared from Home Sweet Home. Upon closer inspection, I realized, it was very similar to my Free To Me Desk I got last year! I believe these are old military desks, and they seem to be left by the road often! They are SOLID and make fantastic family workstations. This is a different take on furniture, and I love the look of the wood trim mixed with the color.
I know we are all anticipating Spring here, and this chair from My Passion For Decor just sings Spring to me. She shares a fabulous tutorial on how to recover a chair cushion if you haven’t tackled this type of project yet.
I LOVE nesting tables. Something about them just seems whimsical and fun to me. I love this project from Jenifer Robb at Furniture Affair. She painted each table a different shade of CeCe Caldwell’s paints. LOVE!
And for the le grande finale…..A Sewing cabinet! I ooo and ahhhh over Turnstyle Vogue’s work. I would have never in a million years guessed this was a sewing cabinet/table. Sheri redid this project for a client, and added so many special details. Who knew such a little humble thing could turn out to be so gorgeous!
Merci to everyone who linked up. I so appreciate all of you sharing your creations and inspiring me each week.
