Link Party #97, almost to 100 and the Fab Features!

Uncategorized

Happy almost Easter weekend, if you celebrate Easter, and if not, happy almost weekend!  Only three left and we hit 100!  Stay tuned for the fun things that will be happening at Link #100!!

I hope everyone had a creativity filled week.  My kids are on break still, so it has been an interesting mix of trying to get some work in and play!

What a fabulous party!  I think we “all of us bloggers” have become so increasingly talented as a whole over the few two plus years I have been hosting this party.  I am just in awe, STILL every single week.  Here are some of my favorites from last week’s party:

This is a major makeover of a dresser. It was feminine, and so 1980’s when it started.  The makeover is amazing from Holly Do. She used old belts from the thrift store for those pulls!

Uniquely Yours or Mine, shared this beautiful Vintage Bed.  It was a lovely solid wood, but truly needed an update. You can see the gorgeous detail on it now too.  Love the color choices!

This is the best cabinet makeover, the finished product looks nothing like the beginning.  All of that gorgeous detail was added!  You have to go see the before!  From Vintage Breeze.

Are you new to the painting scene?  How about learning how to do some super crisp stripes on a table!  Callie’s Crafts shares it all.  From the beginning to the end, and this is her gorgeous finished product.  LOVE!

Do you have an old changing table laying around?  I do, from a friend who passed it on.  I am a devout Mormon, but I do love the idea of repurposing old things!  The really creative gal at The Humble Nest took a changing table and turned it into this uber chic bar cart, complete with all the glam of a gorgeous design on top!

I am so in love with this chair from Scout and Nimble.  She went way out on a limb and used animal print and painted the chair green.  It looks like something from the pages of Elle Decor.  I LOVE it!

Would like to learn how to use some magic fairy dust?  How about Aging Dust!  What is it?  A fantastic new product from CeCe Caldwell’s and it adds another layer of age and dimension to your gorgeous painted furniture.  My pal Shelly at  Shizzle Designs shows exactly how to use it.  In fact, you can order some for her too!

Merci to everyone who came by, and even biggers merci’s to everyone who visited each other’s links.

Be nice and follow le rules……

I love seeing all the projects, inspiration and motivation. Since rain is predicted this weekend I think I will paint one of the two end tables. Have you tried the aging dust yet?

How about a changing table ice tea station? I can see that in your future. Or soda set up.
