Happy Trashy Tuesday friends! Did you see my junquealicious Bench Made of Junque yesterday? Thanks to everyone who stopped by to check it out!
Do you wonder where I get all this junque? Believe it or not, it all comes from about a 5 mile radius of my home. And only about three spots consistently. If you live in my town, I am not revealing them. Hint, it is somewhere in here:
And from that small little radius of land, I found a treasure trove of good stuff. Not only am I sharing some of the junque I found, but some ideas I have for it!
I found these two forlorn folding chairs.
I love this idea from my friend Catherine at Freddy and Petunia, she even added numbers! 
I was driving a kid home from a friend’s house the other night and I had to take a detour due to road construction. I idly wondered if I would see any furniture on the way home. I DID! This was on someone’s front lawn. I boldly rang the door bell to see if it were a “freebie”. They had just been given the thing that day and didn’t know what to do with it, they were so happy to see it go. Now that is right place, right time!
I would love to do something like this my friend Jesse at Nine Red did. Bright base, fun top. It is really big, like 4 feet around. Too big for my space at PFM, but perfect for my backyard!
I just keep finding cool beds. I really love the shape of this one, and a great foot board too. Thank of all the possibilities if you remove the posts!
This was actually done by the Grandmother of the gal at the Yellow Cape Cod, a long time ago, and has been passed through the family. How timely is this today?! 
I know there is a something missing here, but that round top can easily be replaced with a fun painted piece of wood. And…..I just happened to find a giant umbrella today too! It definitely needs love, but I think I can make the two get along.
Someone had thrown this out, very carefully I might add! It was wrapped up nicely in a giant garbage bag. They even put my name on it before they placed it in the dumpster! (That part not true)
And just in case you wonder if I actually make over this stuff I keep hauling home, remember this dumpy thing? She got a gorgeous makeover which I will be sharing next week.
I have sworn off dumpster diving at least until next week 😉 I can tell when I start to cross that line between treasure hunter and ” junquey”.

~The old patio table would be super cool to make a mosiac-tile top, the beveled glass light–turn it upside down for a torche-styled light or planter or fruit bowl, and that industrial wheeled base–just has SO mAny possibilities!

Wow, you just get the best junk. Karen. and you are so creative . I love how you showed your possible ideas for your junk. Do you do one at a time , in your mind that is ?? or do you have lots going on all at once. As soon as iam about half way through one project. Iam thinking about the next.

Totally awesome finds! I actually sighed out loud at the wheeled shelf – I know you will make something totally amazing with that! Too bad shipping all the way across the continent is so costly!
What are your plans for the lamp that you found? I would love to know because I have one just like it that I have hanging over my kitchen table.
