I am 100 today! Well, that is my link party talking. But it has been 100. WOW. When I started out, it was a small, intimate gathering here at my link party and now it has grown each week to full blown rocking party!
In honor of all of you who have been so gracious to share your talent with me, week after week, I am throwing a huge giveaway party. With CeCe Caldwell’s paints of course!
One lucky creative person will receive 2 quarts of paint, (your color of choice), 1 can of 100% Natural Clear Wax, and a can of our newest product. Aging Dust. (Which I will be sharing next week, and I LOVE it!)
I will share with you how to enter the contest at the end of the post. But for now, let’s honor our 100th Link Party Features!
To begin, I am breaking my own rules. It is 100, I can bend them. I ask each week for all of you to share with your Redoux’s. This amazing Barn door is not a Redoux….yet. But the story behind how Hymn’s and Verses rescued it is what I am all about here. Saving things from landfills, giving life to something that was destined for the dump.
This is gorgeous before and after. From Picked and Painted, she took a traditional French Style Dresser and End Tables and gave them new life with HUGE pops of color.
I am celebrating new uses for old things, and this is definitely a new use. Debra from Common Ground shares a fantastic tutorial on how to make one of these gorgeous Vintage Seed Boxes, from basically an old (or new from the craft store) box. What a wonderful gift this would make for Mother’s Day.
Do you read the Newspaper still? We (sadly) switched to Sunday only, but I miss the feel of the daily paper in hand. There were so many days when it was barely read and would just go straight to the recycling bin. (Our schedules are insane sometimes, and our news has to come in spurts from online!) The Vintage Estate found a beautiful new use for Old Newspapers. Decorate with them!
If you are like me, I NEVER get tired of Chalk Boards. Shabby Love doesn’t seem to either! She does a fabulous Restoration Hardware Hack. Cut pieces of wood to the same shapes and hung the chalk boards. She is getting for her one year anniversary sale at her furniture spot, so go check it out to see if you live nearby!
More chalkboards! Have you seen one on a chair? I haven’t, but this is adorable from Lake Girl Paints. Both sides have a cute sign. Check her post for the full instructions, and stick around, she has tons of amazing tutorials and projects to share.
It just wouldn’t be a party if Shelly from Shizzle Design wasn’t here! She has truly out done herself again. She partnered with a local artisan who makes gorgeous end grain butcher blocks and islands to create this one of a kind piece. The paint is layered, and layered, to truly give it an aged perfection.
I will never EVER get tired of a beautiful French Inspired Vignette. These cane back chairs from Orphans with Makeup were brown and blah to start with. She did a perfect job of redouxing them in grey. Sigh.

I am so excited for the warmer weather, not that it is necessary with CeCe Caldwell’s, because you can paint indoors!! I love these paints because I know that they are safe for my family AND the environment. Plus, the colors are gorgeous!

Luv the adorable seed boxes! Congrats on your 100th(never thought I would hear myself say that to anyone!) I just rescued a stinky old dresser with lovely little casters on her feet. She would look fantastic wearing Ce Ce….ohhhh what color would go best with her dark complexion? I’m working on removing the basement /attic? smell and re gluing some bubbled veneer but she will be ready for her designer outfit soon!!!
