Link Party #101, the 100th features…And a WINNER!

Uncategorized

Happy almost weekend!  WOW!  You know how to turn out for a PARTY!  Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by to share something “happy” that was on their mind and to enter my CeCe Caldwell’s giveaway!   I had so much fun reading all of your comments, there were some really original ones!

Before I go on with the features, I think should announce the Winner of the Big Giveaway!

SANDRA SANDERS, COME ON DOWN!

Sandra won 2 quarts of 100% natural CeCe Caldwell’s paints, color of choice, a can of Cece Caldwell’s 100% natural clear wax, and a can of our new 100% natural Aging Dust.  WOO HOO!

Can’t wait for Sandra to get her products so she can start creating.  It is that easy, crack open a can and paint.  No prep, just create.

Now let’s talk about those fabulous features!

Uniquely Chic spied this nightstand at a Flea Market, it had peeling veneer and was a lot of work, but it truly was one of the prettiest nightstands, she and (I) have seen!  She worked hard removing all that peeling veneer, but it was so worth the end result.  Sigh, this is just swoon worthy.

This next makeover is from one of the best direction followers I have seen!  Debbie from Me and My DIY found this chair on Craigslist.  She tried her hand at upholstery for the FIRST TIME, gives awesome links to all her sources on painting the chair, to sewing welting.  I want one too!

Are you ready for some fun Spring Colors?  Then check out Karin’s page at Art is Beauty.  Karin is a true artist and knows all the tricks for mixing colors.  She mixed up a few CeCe Caldwell’s paints for this piece.  I LOVE.

This project caught my eye for several reasons.  From Sunflower Hugs, she found this awesome buffet, made a home made chalk paint, but had some funky holes to cover on the top.  She got creative and added this grey band.  The end result is so original!

You know how much I love a Frankenfurniture makeover.  Any old thing you modify from what it was originally is sit up and take notice in my book!  I love this table from Kirby at Kirb Appeal.

She took a table she came by (on questionable means), added old boards to the top, sort of uneven to make it look hand crafted, and then added this fun Milk Paint treatment and words.

There were so many wonderful link ups last week.  I am sharing a bunch more at my FB PAGE, so head over there after you are here.  It would be extra nice if you would like to LIKE me too!

PS I wanted to give a shout out to Inlinkz.  I messed up the link last week right as the party got started.  I was panicked!  They got back to me literally in about 90 seconds.  That is the most amazing customer service I have seen, aside from my fabulous blog designer! ByAimee.com, but she is in a category of her own!
