Link Party #99, The Fantab Features, and Giveaway coming up

Uncategorized

BEFORE I DELVE INTO THE PARTY…..Some self promotion!  I have been nominated at Skinny Scoop as one of the top 25 Home Decor Blogs!!!  Thank you to whomever nominated, and thank you if you already checked it out and “liked me”!  Before you check out the Link Party, I would LOVE it if you would click SKINNY SCOOP, scroll down to Redoux Interiors and “Like Me”!  Contest ends April 30th.  You can also hop over there through my side bar.  And now….onto the Party!

Woo hoo!!  I am almost 100!  That is my party talking, not me.  Next week will be my 100th Link Party.  I am so grateful to everyone who has continued to come by and help build the party into something really amazing.  It has been such a delight for me to see all the talent you have shared with me.  Truly, each week I am amazed!

I am excited to give you a hint on the BIG giveaway I will be doing next week for the 100th celebration.  It involves CeCe Caldwell’s paints, products, and one of our really fun new products that I bet you haven’t tried. Everything you will need to start creating masterpieces yourself!

Let’s get to the 99th features now!

I am loving everything in bloom for Spring, and I love to see Spring brought inside.  From An Extraordinary Day, this talented gal shows us how to make simple flowering branches, using (branches ;))  and a flower hold punch.  Yep, it was that simple.  This is something I can definitely do.

Speaking of Spring, I love this Fern wreath from the uber talented Daisy Mae Belle.  You won’t believe how easy it is to create this, and it looks so soft and lovely for Spring!

Have you met Allison at Refunk My JunkNot only is she super talented with a paint brush, but she has an amazing story to share.  This gal was a high powered banker then turned to paint brushes and paint to follow her dream.  Looks like she is living it with this gorgeous table she painted in CeCe Caldwell’s Emerald Isle Green.  But the kicker is the wax.  She tinted it with a Copper pigment.  How cool is that!  I can’t wait to try this myself.

I just have such a THING for benches.  Maybe because they always look like cozy places to curl up and read a good book.  Maybe I could make myself sit down during the day long enough to read a book instead of dozing off reading as I do every night.  I think this bench would be the perfect spot for me.  From Reposhture, this talented gal gives all the details on how to make one yourself.  Oh how I Love!

Do you have an old Bundt Pan in your home.  Do you pass them up at Thrift Stores?  Has it occurred to you to make a light out of it????  Well, it did to the super creative Kim at Too Much Time, and she painted it in chalkboard paint!  She gives the full details on how to make one yourself too!

I love Bad Rabbit Vintage, she is SO talented!  She painted this little table with MMS Milk paint.  It was in the worst chippy condition, so as she said, she fought “chippy with chippy”.  It looks like Chippy won!

I am so happy Shabby But Chic linked this project to my party.  I have seen painted books a few times, but I keep forgetting to pin them and do something like this!  They make the loveliest little decor items.  Look how sweet these are!  Rhonda gives the full details on exactly how to do this without getting paint all over the pages too. Super easy!

Thank you SO much for everyone who shared last week.  Please check out my Facebook page to see who else was highlighted.  There were so many great projects, I am sharing each week on Facebook too.

One final note…..If you have word verification on.  PLEASE TURN IT OFF!  Many bloggers are not aware it is still on.  It makes it so hard to comment when you have this and discourages people from commenting.

Merci to everyone who came by, and even bigger merci’s to everyone who visited each other’s links.

Be nice and follow le rules……

I hardly create responses, but i did a few searching and wound up here Link Party #99, The Fantab Features, and Giveaway coming up |
Redoux Interiors. And I do have 2 questions for you
if you tend not to mind. Is it only me or does it
look as if like some of these responses come across like left by brain dead visitors?
😛 And, if you are writing on other online sites, I would
like to follow anything new you have to post. Would
you make a list of every one of your shared sites like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
