Where there is Paint, there is a Crowd!

Good Time Charlie

Happy Thursday friends!   I am making a few changes to my blog soon to include “WORKSHOPS”!!  We are offering lots of exciting classes at Paris Flea Market in Livermore these days.  The biggest event of all is our upcoming  CeCe Caldwell’s Fundraiser to benefit the Crohns and Colitits foundation.

This is a BIG DEAL for us at Paris Flea Market.  We are busily preparing to make sure it is the event of the year for everyone who attends.

We wanted to make sure we were prepared to teach everyone so we held a “trial run” with several of our “Fleas and Roomies”.  Room With a Past is our sister store in Walnut Creek, California and is every bit as fun as Paris Flea Market.

We had a huge turn out!  Everyone brought a project to work on.  We learned how to layer CeCe Caldwell’s Paints, how to use a wet rag to a “Wet Distress”, what sandpaper to use for burnishing and smoothing the paint and what to use for distressing.  We learned how to use the yummy 100% natural Cece Caldwell’s Clear Wax, and Satin Finish to achieve a perfectly smooth, glass like finish.

It was a full evening.  There was LOT of laughter.  Have you been in a warehouse with that many creative women (and one man) all at the same time?

There were some beautiful projects finished, just in time for our sale last weekend.

I feel so privileged to be a part of this creative group of women (and man).  I hope you can drop by to see us at our next sale Room With a Past in Walnut Creek opens tonight, and Paris Flea, 1st weekend of May.

If you want to learn more and you live in Northern California, I have my NEXT class this Saturday from 9-12!

You can sign up and reserve your spot RIGHT HERE

If you would like to come to our fabulous fundraiser and meet CeCe Caldwell herself, plus the famous Shelly Andrade of  Shizzle Design, there are a few spots left!  We have people coming from all over to support this worthy cause.  Click the Paris Flea Website for more information.

We are a pretty fun group, and we always are looking for an excuse to have some fun together. Hope we see you soon at Paris Flea Market or Room With a Past!

PS Don’t forget to come back at 1:00 for Le Link Party and features #99 and I will be giving hints about my BIG giveaway for the 100th!!

Great. Brawn wants me to sign him up for a painting class like that. He’d be grinning like that man too surrounded by all those women, many of which probably know how to use power tools – total turn on!

Wow! Hi, Karen. Mitzi from Spokane, here. Not sure if you remember me (one of the twins). Dang, you must be super busy, in a good way. Makes me wish that I lived in your neck of the woods. I’m curious to know what the connection to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation are to you all and CeCe Caldwell. What a great cause. I had Colitis at one time. It’s a very life-altering condition. God bless you all in your endeavor! Also, my sis says you had a B-day. Happy-late birthday. Keep up the great work. Your blog always inspires me!
