Happy Memorial Day weekend!!! Memorial Day weekend means a lot to me. Not only do I try to take some time to remember and thank those who died in the service of protecting our great country, but I also like to remember loved ones who have passed. Usually on Memorial Day my family goes to visit my Dad’s grave. Then we go eat lots of Ice Cream in honor of his memory (He LOVED his Ice Cream).
My Dad had a fabulous sense of humor, he was showing off his new Christmas sweater AND new Golfing Hat
This year however, I will be celebrating Memorial Day at the CeCe Caldwell Factory in Prescott, Arizona! CeCe herself, and some of our CeCe sisters will be creating a beautiful project to honor our great country, and highlight the gorgeous colors of the CeCe Caldwell’s Palette!
I will be sure to share our project and report on all the fun next week!
Let’s see what fabulousness was memorable for me!
My eyes were popping out when I read this Redoux story from Pneumatic Addict . This was a roll top desk!! This uber talented gal took the top off, refinished the desk top and made a gorgeous, very expensive looking desk from what remained. I love the CeCe Caldwell’s Georgia Clay she used in this too. So talented!
Have you ever considered making a back splash for your kitchen with chalkboard paint? Something Nice and Pretty did just that, and it turned out gorgeous!! How fun, you could have endless ways to express yourself on that backsplash!
Have you seen Tissue Papered Walls? They look so cool, but Artsy Va Va took the tissue to the pot. As in little planting pots. She even printed graphics on them from The Graphics Fairy! You have to go check it out to see how she did this. Perfect project for Spring!
I love someone who takes on a challenge, and for Vintage Breeze, this was a challenge! She not only just got her Driver’s License and drove herself to get her paint, but she mixed two colors to get this gorgeous finish, then added the graphics. Check out the before to see the transformation!
Merci to everyone who linked up!! Check out my Facebook page too for more fun features!
