Welcome to another edition of Trashy Tuesday, where we talk trash, literally!
Do you even wonder what it looks like in the bottom of a dumpster? Shelly from Shizzle Design snapped this picture of me when she was visiting. It is worth it to actually go in sometimes…
Did you know I am outstanding in my field? What field is that you ask? This one!
On a recent shopping trip with the redheaded son, we spotted a furniture graveyard behind the store. Most of it was beyond saving, but we did manage to pop four of these cabinet doors off!
And, at that same Furniture Grave yard, we found two pretty decent frames that had a pulse left in them.
I also learned to take the world’s bluriest picture of a VERY tall bookshelf I found this week. Apartment Dumpster diving is so easy! Taking pictures in a hurry with my Iphone, not so much!
I know it tis but a small thing, saving furniture and home decor. Tough job, someone has to do the saving. Hope you are doing it too! There is a whole world of Junque out there that needs us!
You are my hero, Karen — and always with a smile!
We all do our best, but no one saves Junque like you do!
What creative thing did you do with the gumball machine?? I recently broke the glass in mine and haven’t been able to find replacement glass. Do tell…..
🙂 🙂 🙂 Patti@OldThingsNew
I really try my best Karen, but you see treasures everywhere!
You really are outstanding in your field! You should sit atop a trophy for your skills.
You are sO danged lucky with the things you find–
especially luv the tall bookshelf!
