Did we make it???? If you are like me, you have been running a marathon. End of the School year always brings on the FRENZY in me. Add to that, Paris Flea Market is tonight! I will be there tomorrow afternoon and Saturday afternoon. If you are in the area, I would love to see you!
Let’s check out what else I loved to see this week!
Did you see this, DID YOU SEE THIS???? If you follow me on Facebook, then you saw how in love I am with Lori from Thee Velvet Glove’s Dresser. “Damsel in Distress”. Lori is AHMAZING with her furniture. If you are not following her work, then you must. She does things with furniture I don’t have the patience for, but wish I did, because it looks so cool!
Speaking of really cool projects. Pitter and Glink didn’t just do an awesome lamp makeover, she redid the lamp shade with Chicken Wire! This project is heading to the top of my list from . Full tutorial at her site too!
In the words of the humor geniuses, Monty Python…..”And now for something completely different”. This bust, turned dress form from Evocative Vintage is so gorgeous. Sumaya used all kinds of different layering techniques. I have always wanted to try my hand at this. Maybe it will get added to this summer’s list…..
This cabinet Redoux from Shabby Love will knock your socks off. Check out the before and after! What a gorgeous transformation.
And since we are on the topic of furniture makeovers and before and afters. This China Cabinet was a ton of work! From Create Inspire, she did a perfect job of transforming it. Don’t you just love a good before and after?
Merci to everyone who linked up!! Check out my Facebook page too for more fun features!

Thanks for hosting! Our apartment complex is doing some renovating so there was a stack of old cabinets and drawers by the dumpster a couple weeks ago. I called to see if it was okay if I take some things to upcycle and re-use. Being the impatient gal that I am, I grabbed a bunch of knobs and some drawers since the rest of the stuff was pretty heavy, and figured I’m make my fiance go back with me later. I feel like I read somewhere on your blog about finding drawers or finding uses for drawers and that you can never have too many. Maybe I made it up to make myself feel better or give an excuse when Eric came home asking what the heck I was going to do with a bunch of drawers, lol.
Oh Karen, YOU DOLL, YOU!! Thank you for featuring my Damsel in Distress and thank you for your kind words of support. They really mean a lot to me 🙂
