Thank you to everyone who entered the awesome giveaway from Jesse at Nine Red last week! …….And the winner of the original piece of artwork is…………….Cassie from Primitive and Proper! Woo hoo!
I used Rafflecopter to select a winner, but how cool that I actually know Cassie, she has the coolest home too that she shares often on her blog. I am sure she will find a great place for her new art!
I won’t bore you with ANYMORE details of my stairs makeover because it is going on hold until next week. While you are reading this, I will be hopefully doing NOTHING in Las Vegas while Suffering Husband is in class for a conference. Someone has to do the heavy lifting, and someone has to make sure there is enough relaxing getting done so we get our money’s worth where we are staying. I am pretty sure I am to the task of nothingness.
Onto the features! I can’t wait (well actually I really can) to get back to work next week. I am so inspired by what you have shared!
This table is a popular piece, but every time I see it, I just sigh and feel calm. What a gorgeous take on a gorgeous old standard. The Beachy look is for me and Upcycled Treasures got it just right.
I love this next feature, but not just because of how beautiful these screens are, but the story is the best! You have to go read An Extraordinary Day’s story on how she walked, not one, two, but SIX big doors home, up and down hills, through her neighborhood. That is my kind of junkin gal!
I really do have Beach on my mind. This is such a simple, but easy project from Shabby Love, perfect for summer, or year round. Check out the easy tutorial, you can make one this weekend! LOVE!
And, well, here we are at the Beach again!! I can’t get enough of it! From Old Things New, I adore the colors and the finish Patty used for this drop leaf. I love drop leaf tables too. Have one to share next week!
If you are a child of the 70’s then you most likely had one of these, or knew someone who had these in your home. Drum Tables! They are hard to upcycle because they look so distinctly 70’s, but Sunflower Hugs went way out of the box, or Drum…..She covered the top in old burlap sacks! Wow, I would never thought to have done that!
Merci to everyone who linked up!!

Hi Karen! Thank you so much for the feature! It’s funny because my mom told me she noticed my console table was smirking and now that’s all I see when I look at the photos, haha. Have fun in Vegas and I hope the heat isn’t too bad 🙂
