Happy Monday friends! It was HOT here in Northern California this weekend. I really should not be complaining, I know many of my southern friends had it Hot and HUMID!
Speaking of Hot and Southern, I want to introduce you to “Madame H”. Madame H started out as most befores. She was found in a funky, and I mean FUNKAY antique store in a most undesirable area of town. I found her when Shelly from Shizzle Design was here. Our find was actually a result of us not getting up in time to make it to our date with a Zip Line. We ended up pulling off the freeway. Somewhere between Sonoma and my town, we found her. Madame H that is. Why is she Southern and Hot? I will get to that in a minute……
My friend Donna Haile, who is a Southern Distributor for CeCe Caldwell’s Paints (you can read about Miss Donna HERE), created this amazing piece. She named it “Olivia”. It was love at first sight. With Olivia I mean. I love Donna too by the way. Stop by Donna’s blog, Doozie’s Corner to see more like Miss Olivia.
I LOVED the way the grey plays with the yellow. I knew I wanted to create something similar. I named this piece after Donna because she is one HOT Distributor and Fab furniture Redouxer. She is also one force to be reckoned with, in a seriously good way. I wanted “Madame H” to be a force to be reckoned with too.
Madame H is wearing CeCe Caldwell’s Pittsburg Grey mixed with with 1 parts CeCe’s Dover White (a tres cool paint that has no pigment, but works wonderfully as a wash, or to lighten colors). Her drawers and panels are wearing an equal part of CeCe’s California Gold and Dover White. Madame H is wearing 100% natural CeCe’s wax too.
Madame H only wears the best in paint couture!
When you see her, you stop. You admire those legs.Â
You take a long gander at her fabulous detail and her beautiful drawer front
If you introduce yourself, she will pose for you and show you her best side.
(I think both her sides look lovely)
Madame H is between homes right now. She is currently at Paris Flea Market waiting for our next sale, June 6th-9th. She won’t be available for long. If you are interested, book a date with yourself to go meet her.  She will add “L’élégance” to any room in your home.
Madame H is visiting these distinguished blogs this week:
When she walks into a room all eyes fall upon her in awe of her beauty. Breaths are held momentarily….and as if she has cast her spell, all other heads turn to stare. They want to drink of her beauty until they can no more!
I just love the piece and the color combination! The style of the buffet is just fabulous!
