Happy Trashy Tuesday! So much junque to share with you today. My sister and her youngest daughter are visiting. We are having so much fun! However, I did manage to squeeze in some trash talk too!
Sometimes it is amazing what you can find in just one good dumpster. Someone dumped a bed and all the parts. In an office complex dumpster no less! What was I doing there? Why looking for furniture of course!
I thought these bed railings would make a neat room divider. Some fun CeCe Caldwell’s paint and a little embellishment?
How about this headboard, I have a footboard too. Chop off the bottom part. They make great coat racks, with a chalkboard. Like the one I did HERE.
I am not sure what part of the bed (?) these came from. Pull off the straps attached, and they are fab extra wood, or possibly a sign?
Extra treat this week. On a random dumpster check, I found this ladder! I didn’t have to go in to get it either. It was just sitting on the top!
I didn’t have to go far for this table. My neighbor actually gave it to me. It doesn’t technically qualify as trash then, but it was a free to me! The box I found near a dumpster though, so it evens out.
Good Junque just leaves me feeling so jubilant! Hope you have a totally trashy week.
So nice ( deep breath ) ahhhh
Great finds, I have quite a few old wooden ladders. I think they are so charming! My husband and I drove around a huge dumpster by an old house. It was full with old chairs, tables etc. We could not figure out how to get in it, it was so high up! I thought of you and knew if you were there you would have figured it out 🙂 We had to leave it with much regret 🙁 I could have used one of those old ladders, maybe I should keep one in my car…
Great Junque Karen! Loving that ladder!
Good stuff, Karen! Always love trashy Tuesdays! Looking forward to meeting you at Haven!

You are the best darn junque-er Karen! Jealous . . . but happy for you! Blessings, Patti@OldThingsNew
great stuff, that’s a great piece for a room divider!
You crack me up Karen! I can’t believe the treasures you find! That ladder is awesome! Oh, and the wood you were wondering about came from the slats that go under the mattress to support it. Great idea to use them as a sign. I’m sure you’ll come up with all sorts of amazing projects to wow us!
