Link Party #115 and the Fab Features!

Uncategorized

Happy Thursday!  I wrote this whole post last night, scheduled it and sent it on its way. This morning I went to tweak one more thing…..POOF!  Everything on my ENTIRE blog disappeared.  As in 0 posts.

I didn’t freak out, I called my web hosting company and they were able to locate a corrupted file, but it was a huge reminder to back up regularly, update regularly and be diligent with blog keeping! Big shout out to Hostgator.com.  Best customer service for webhosting.

On a happier note, I would love to introduce you to my newest sponsor!  Jesse from Nine Red!  Jesse did the coolest String Art giveaway a few weeks back, and he makes the most amazing creations.  Please go visit his shop and check out one of his works of art for your home.  I have one, and it is so cool.

And! I am on Instagram!  I would love for you to follow me.  I share some fun dumpster diving insights, sneak peeks of projects, and more.  Find me at Redouxinteriors.

Phew!  I am going to be quick with the features, I had so much more to say, so much to say, so much to say, (sorry, have to sneak some Dave Matthews band in there where I can).  Now it is right to the point.  I hope you will go check out all these wonderful features.

First…..I adore this table makeover from my friend Debra at  Common Ground.  I am not sure what I love more, the ho-hum to Fantabulous Farm table makeover, or all the gorgeous things Debra has on and around it!  Her blog is chock full of eye candy of gorgeousness.

I love this secretary makeover from Postcards from the Ridge.  It is so gorgeous in the two-tone colors. No wonder it sold so fast!

I love a good Hack.  Especially a really good Ikea Hack.  This is the best one I have seen. EVER.  Not only did they put Pallet wood in the back, add lighting, they added some really cool shelving, and painted it to look like it was all custom built.  From The Thinking Closet, LOVE!

We probably all have one of these in our home somewhere.  The filing cabinet.  But does your look like this?  It is so sophisticated! From My DIY Habits.  Awesome tutorial on how to do this too, it is even named the “Dorothy Draper” from Mad Men.  How fitting, I can see Dorothy retrieving some secret information on Don from one of these drawers!

Remember the moratorium I have on chalkboards here from Suffering Husband?  We may have to lift it.  I LOVE this!  The clever gal at Painted Therapy realized her kids were getting too old for the traditional use of their play room and she needed to update it a bit.  I love the tutorial she show, everything from the board, to the frame, even the clever tray for the chalk!  I bet her kids are loving this.

Girl, I hate that nonsense! I will like add one new sidebar widget and it shuts the whole works down because I left out a comma! I am so not a computer nerd and I get so frustrated. Glad it all got back to working and you didn’t lose your cool:)
