Link Party #119 and a Paint Brush Giveaway!!!!!!

I am THRILLED to announce my newest sponsor, and a give away!!   7 Brushes, a $125 value.  1 Lucky Winner!!!!

ChalkPro Products Brushes!

Mike and Kristen Luchsinger have been painting professionally for years, but could never find the perfect paint brush.  After much research, they decided to develop their own line of wax and paint brushes.  I have several of their brushes, and I can’t wait to order more.  These brushes are the first brushes I reach for.  When it comes to painting and waxing brushes, quality makes all the difference in your end result.  ChalkPro Products brushes are the best brushes I have ever tried.  ChalkPro Products are giving away an entire Brush Set.  You don’t want to miss this chance to get a set of these amazing brushes for FREE!  After you check out the features, check out the giveaway and check out ChalkPro Products website!

Onto Le Features!

I am in the market for new Roman Shades.  I am so happy Maison De Pax shared this fantastic tutorial! She used the existing mini blinds shade she had in her home.  Drop cloth, and craft paint.  They look like expensive custom made shades now!

I am in love with this adorable little writing desk and stool from Vintage Prairie Style.  The details make the difference here.  She cut up lots of book pages and decoupaged them onto the drawer front, and check out the legs on the stool!

I love Julia from 551 East Furniture Designs, she took a break after having a baby, but it looks like the break only increased her talents!  Check out her “Barb” piece, a tribute to Barb Blair from Knack Studios.  I think Julia has a follow up post to show you how to achieve this too!

Back when I used to do more custom work, I would have loved a client to ask for something like this project from A to Z creations.  So FUN!  She took a boring Oak Wardrobe and turned it into a one of a kind creation.

This is a “Why Didn’t I Think Of That” moment!  From Confessions of a Serial DIYer, she shares how EASY it is to make your own piping and add it to chairs.  Love it!

I can’t get enough of French Provincial Style Furniture, and Pneumatic Addict did it again.  Not only can Elisha build furniture, but wow can she paint it too!  I love the combination Elisha used.  CeCe Caldwells Young Kansas Wheat and Simply White.  And the best part?  No sanding or priming.  It looks gorgeous!

Man! My faux roman shades did NOT come out looking that good. They are finally going to be replaced this weekend with wood shades (after 3 years of looking at my failed attempt). Good job to all the ladies picked!

Nice features, Karen! Thanks for hosting! I’ve been wanting to try the CeCe Caldwell paints. I think there is a booth that sells it where I have my booth, so I need to stop by there and pick some up. The brushes look great.

The question for the comment said what would string art do for you. I remember learning how to do string art at Girl Guides. Wow, long time ago now. I love what you do at Redoux and have been a follower for years. What an awesome giveaway

Thanks for a chance to win such a great prize. I’m so new at painting furniture/home decor items, but the one thing that I’ve realized is the brush makes all the difference.

String art? Well, I would love a large one of the United States with the focal point on where we live.

I know it’s automated. But I’ll be thrilled and tickled if I can get these brushes to start on my first projects. I’m so afraid of everything that I’m scared to just get started. The right tools should help immensely.
