Yay, it is my favorite day of the week, the day I get to share your creativity, and be inspired by you! I FINALLY had a week of catching up, on everything. I cleared out all kinds of stuff. Even gave away, (gasp) 10 pieces of free dumpster found furniture that I was just not feeling the love with. Hopefully with all of this purging, it will free my mind to create. At least my life isn’t as cluttery as it was last week!
Here are just some of the amazing things that inspired me this week.
How about some college colors? Obessesive and Creative created this fun table for a secretary at her school. She is a University of Texas fan and she built the table from scratch! Too fun and what a nice gift!
She did it again……..and since I can’t get enough of graphics on furniture, the buffet from last week? Sigh. Here is another sigh worthy and awesome tutorial from Repurposed Gems.
I love the Shabby Chic look, I love the Modern Look, I love the traditional look. I love the FREE look even more. Cassie from Primitive and Proper can do any of these styles flawlessly, and this awesome Coffee Table was FREE!!! She picked it up off the sidewalk where it was waiting for a new owner. I love all the detail, perfect for a Shabby Chic look.
Let me count the ways I love any piece of furniture with the Union Jack on it. Make it a French Style chair, and it is upholstered on, and I am over the moon. The extremely talented gal behind Do It Myself is a master upholsterer, and she shares how she made this one of kind to die for chair. I want one NOW.
This last redoux is unique. Unique that it isn’t painted, which is so nice to see sometimes. And the table itself is so unique! Dee from My Painted Stuff found this table for FREE! At first she thought it was a typical drop leaf table, but it was anything but typical. It turns, so it can be a narrow table, or go wide so it can be an 8 foot wide dining table, and it was made by a leading manufacturer of colonial style furniture, HAND MADE in the 1900’s in Boston. Now that is the find of the century!
Now it’s your turn to share your Redouxs! BE NICE and play along: #1 Please take a button and place on your post to link back to my party. You can copy and place with a hotlink back here or you can go to my Buttons page to get the code.
