I love the Podcast Stuff You Should Know. In fact, I love it so much I make my husband listen too. I have listened to ALL their episodes, many of them while I have been dumpster diving! The hosts Chuck and Josh have many little idioms they say regularly as they educate the listener on all manner of things in this world we should know about. They even did a post on Dumpster Diving and living off the grid several years ago! Anyhow……they use the expression MEH when referring to something that is slightly below, just O.K.
Meh originally derives from Yiddish, for any of you linguists out there, but it was introduced into our popular culture via The Simpsons. Anywho…..what does Meh have to do with Trashy Tuesday?
My Trash was Meh this week. And for darn good reason. Do I look like I need anything else???
I even gave away a bunch of furniture last week, free finds that I was just not making a love connection with.
However, it didn’t stop things from finding me. Darn trash, it follows me everywhere! I saw this console while killing some time waiting for a kid at a Trombone lesson. It was even on a court named “Whispering Wood”. It wasn’t wood, and it wasn’t whispering to me either. It just sat there, mute. It had nothing to say for itself so I left it there.
I did however find these two lovelies. They were just waiting for me to drive by Saturday morning. Truly they were, and the sign FREE, well that is really means, “Karen”, please consider taking this home. So I did. These are definitely not MEH.
Hopefully next week I will be beyond MEH and back to wow. Until then, have a totally trashy Tuesday. Hope your week is full of fabulous junque!
You know it. Meh for me too. I love those side tables though and can’t wait to see what you do with them!

those two nightstands make up for it! 🙂
Those nightstands sure have potential. Can’t wait to see what you’ll do with them! You make me laugh with trash just waiting by the side of the road. I can’t believe nobody else picks them up.
I’ve been stumbling upon many great finds as well, just not free…
I can’t wait to see what you do with the two nightstands. They have a great shape to them!
Those nightstands are really cute, Love the feet!
Karen,
These little night stands are so cute. I love their little legs too. I cannot wait to see what you do with them.

Free curbside stuff! You’ve got to love it! I call curbside furniture “u-turn trash”. Can’t wait to see them when you are done!
