Happy Fall! I know it has been Fall on the calendar for a few weeks now, but it is FINALLY starting to feel like it here! I have lived in the SF Bay Area most of my life…..you would think I would be aware that Fall arrives here around Halloween. But every year I want it to cool down and change when the calendar says so. When it finally changes, the trees around us are gorgeous. The air around me inspires me to create more as I spend more time inside. Speaking of inspiring. Let’s check out the gorgeous features this week!
Remember! I am Pinning everything featured here to my Redoux Features board! Be sure to stop by Facebook and Instagram too if you want sneak peeks and updates on what I am working on!
If you are regular around here, then you know I am junk hunting, dumpster diving junkie. There are few things I love more than to create something out of what I call “junque”. I call it Frankenfurniture, but a new category is Frankendecor. This is from Denise on a Whim. This adorable memo board was created from a whole bunch of junk odds and ends that were all trash rescues. You have to see the full post to appreciate it. Genius Denise!
This little sewing box with the cute graphic from The Graphics Fairy is so fun. I love a whimsical project. From Vintage Paint and More , she tells a tale that it was rough going! Sew glad she kept at it. The finished product is adorable!
I love this kitchen stool makeover from Red Tin Inn. I have let these slip through my fingers before. It never occurred to me use such cute burlap on it! Also, she has a great tip for getting the best deal on fabric at Joann’s!
I love Karin from Art is Beauty. She is a master at thinking outside the box, and she uses custom graphics in so many ways I would never think of! This is the cutest dresser with the dress form added! She did quite the clean up on the original sad state of this dresser, so be sure you go check out her post to see the before and the transition!
This lamp project from Dear Emmeline is Da Bomb! She created a lamp from a vintage water bottle, but did not have to drill a hole in the bottle. She shares the best tutorial on putting together a lamp kit I have seen. I must make one!
This is a project I hope to have in my home one day. Between Blue and Yellow took an old cabinet with the top missing from her neighbors trash. She had me at trash….She upholstered a top and created a comfy bench, then added the adorable paint finish. She stores her family’s shoes in there now! It was perfect for an area in her house she was trying to finish. See, eventually you can find everything you need in the trash somewhere!
Thank you for sharing your talents! Be sure to check out my Pinterest Board Redoux Features for all the features from my party, including today’s!
