Redouxinteriors Link Party (November 14th) #130 and Les Features!

Want to see more DIYs and projects, random fun throughout the week? Like me on Facebook!  Click on my icon on the left.

I Pin ALL the features on my REDOUX FEATURES Pinterest board!  You can repin from there, it is linked to the original source.  Please do not pin directly from here.

NO NEWS FROM MOI! Let’s get right to your talent.

I must have decoupage on the brain because I am so excited about these map decoupaged projects from The Craft Dictator.  I have several of these old little tin tubs around here, now I have some ideas of what to do with them!

We are on a paper roll!  This desk is the darling of the link party this week, and for good reason!!! It is a stunner.  From Create Inspire, you have to check out all the detail, and you MUST see her post to see the top. Oh my.

This Coffee Table is gorgeous!!  I love the wood top, and luckily, it didn’t need all that much rescuing.  The talented Susan at Sunflower Hugs did a beautiful paint job to transform the dated yellow it was before.  Looks like an expensive piece now, but it didn’t start out that way!

Have you checked out Christy’s blog, Confessions of a Serial DIYer?  You must!  Christy is so talented and she has amazing tutorials to share.  Back her feature today, apparently Christy is also amazingly talented at finding solid wood pieces for only $20!!!  She gave this piece a gorgeous makeover and I love the fabric fronts.

I am gearing up for being ready for Christmas.  Does this sound like I am trying to convince myself I am ready? Just a tad.  I am excited, but everything comes so fast, before I  am fully on top of the last holiday!  I SO love this Candy Car Canning Lid Wreath, like the fabulous one Funky Junk 1st inspired, this one by twelve-o-eight.  So cute, and such a cute post. It will make you nostalgic for your youth, (if you are over the age of 30 something!)

I love experimenting with finishes and techniques.  The Vinegar and Steel wool method is one of my all time favorites. Everyone gets such a different look.  You can see how mylibrary desk turned out.  Then check out how different this gorgeous sideboard looks.  Orphans with Makeup sanded the existing finish, but unevenly, applied this solution, then let it sit!  Go check it out for the rest of the awesome pictures!

Now for le technical details:

PLEASE TURN OFF WORD VERIFICATION!!!!!  If you are not sure, double check.  It is the bane of the blogging world.

Party Ettiquette…..Please grab the button (you can copy and link back or grab code HERE) and display this button on your post and link back. Not linking back is kind of like coming to a party, grabbing some food, and never saying “hi” to the hostess. Please be nice!

You are a Celebre! Have you been featured? Please feel free to grab the code for the FEATURED! button and display on your blog.

I love the Marilyn – what fun, and the cute little checkerboard desk is the sweetest. Actually I love them all. The fabric fronts, the coffee table, the sideboard, and the great wreath! All good stuff. Can’t wait to browse them all later. Thanks for hosting the party!
