Are you trashed from running around getting ready for Christmas?  The New Year is fast approaching. Out with the old and in with the new, Trashy  Tuesday style!   I have been doing some purging around here.  It is has been hard to say goodbye to some of my close friends. I finally came to the realization, not all friendships are made to last.  I made another large run to the dump today to say goodbye to some of my broken friendships.  Here we are on our way to our to our parting.

I don’t mind going to the dump.  I get to meet up with my friends and coworkers in the junk business. Here is Tyler, my friendly checker inner man at my local dump!

I did SO get my garage cleaned up.  But like magic, just a few days after, I got a message from a friend she was having a HUGE garage sale. This friend loves to shop, and decorate. When she gets tired of it, she sells it.  And lucky me, she sells it at bargain basement prices.  I got almost all this stuff for practically nuthin.

And she threw in this huge ottoman!

I have held back on the dumpster diving.   I just cannot stop cruising the curbs for freebies on Saturdays.  I found this lovely modern art (umm, I think I may just keep the canvas and reinterpret the art with my own version).

At the same one stop shopping curb, I picked up this overly doo dadded Coffee Table. The legs are being removed, the pedestals in between.

All those little decorative hookie things unscrew to make lots and lots of hooks.

Emma and I majorly cleaned out and organized my closet in the garage too.  Now I actually have a place for all those hookie doo dad things.  She was brutal and made me get rid of all kinds of things. I may have taken something out of the give away pile when she wasn’t looking…….

Oh! And remember the shoe organizer idea and then found a free one I got for spindly parts?  I got that filled up too!
