My heart and prayers go out to all of those who have been so adversely affected by the polar vortex and horrible weather. Especially those in Georgia that were stranded, stuck, or away from family and loved ones.
Now, for something to cheer us up!

This is such a gorgeous table makeover from my friend Taylor at Dear Olympia. Taylor lives in the gorgeous state of Hawaii, and she always has a light and beachy touch to her furniture. She used my favorite CeCe Caldwell’s paints to take this table from dark to beach cottage chic. She shares exactly how to do this too!
I love the old world look of Verdigris, and it is so easy to do with all the fabulous chalk based paints on the market. (My fave Cece Caldwell’s). Iris Abbey shares how she turned these ho hum cherubs into gorgeous Verdigris Cherubs.
I love a cheery, bright pop of yellow. This adorable cabinet makeover fits the bill of Sunshine and adorable. My Practically Perfect Home took a ho-hum cabinet to a true Antique Country makeover. Love!
Can you believe this table was built by hand? It is gorgeous in every way. Check out Fisherman’s wife built this, and you can too!
I love the look of old books. I have found lots of them in the garbage if you can believe that. (if you are are a regular here, then you can….). Chic California shows how gorgeous decorating with old books can be. Will definitely be trying some of this here.

Please feel free to grab the code for the FEATURED! button and display on your blog.
I love reading your posts and looking at your party guests’ terrific ideas. Thanks for featuring Iris Abbey’s verdigris cherubs this week. Ann Marie @ Iris Abbey

My fav of the day is that darling yellow cabinet. There is something about yellows that make you smile. Thank you for hosting……..
Thanks for thinking of us Georgia folks. It was horrible for the people on the interstates and a lot of kids had to sleep at there schools too. My husband had to walk 2 miles when he couldn’t go any farther, but we know we were blessed that it was all he had to walk. So many great stories about everyone trying to help others too. As usual its great to see everything featured I can’t pick a favorite they are all great. Lots of talent here.
Thanks for the shout out! I can’t wait to get back into painting soon so I can join in on this linkup! 🙂
All of your features are amazing, Karen, and thank you for making my yellow cabinet one of them! Hope you have a great night! ~Lisa
