Link Party #145 and the Fab Features!

Uncategorized

Is spring Springing in your neighborhood? I hope so!  It is quite nice here, and we can even see some of the bulbs my daughter planted sprouting up.  Speaking of Spring, I had a spring in my step as I finished some projects.  I found a bunch of great stuff this week in Dumpster Dives too!  Here is what I shared:

How to Paint a Faux Rust Finish using CeCe Caldwells Chalk and Clay based paints.  Much easier than you think, and so fun!  Trashy Tuesday, I could redecorate my whole house!  How to transform an old cart to a gorgeous bar cart with a surprising metal aged top.  (Show you how, you won’t believe what I used).  And my favorite, Old Metal Boxes from a sad Pie Safe that went to heaven, turned gorgeous Flower Planters.

Now for the fabulous Redoux features!

This chair has been so popular this past week around the blogosphere, and for good reason. It is an amazing makeover, and Melanie at Lost and Found shows us all that repurposing and reupholstering a project are very possible for anyone with some determination and willingness to learn.  You must go see the before to appreciate the after!

This mini kitchen makeover from House of Hawkes has major impact!  I love the before and after, and how fresh the after looks!

This next project just made my heart pump fast!  The color is GORGEOUS! From Beth at Make Me Pretty Again, she took a hohum Vanity in need of a makeover with dings, scratches and all and  transformed it to this show stopper! She even added fabric to the sides of the drawers for extra impact.  A must go see!

I love these simple Lavender star sachets from Shabby Love. I am a bit Lavender obsessed myself.  The pictures are so lovely, go check out the post, you can probably smell the lavender straight through your computer.

I am in love with the color Coral. I love it in muted and vibrant shades.  Sharon from Elizabeth and Company painted this wonderful dresser for her newest grand daughter!  She also did a lovely change up on the hardware.  Check out her post to see how easy it is to make them muted gold!
