Happy almost weekend! I have had a fun week of learning some new upholstery skills and a little junking thrown in! My friend Nia Sayers from Summerland Style was visiting to teach an upholstery workshop at Paris Flea Market in Livermore, CA. Nia might be coming back in the Fall to do a build and paint your own Ottoman. Something I have been wanting to learn!
Keep up with all my junking fun and latest projects! Follow me on Facebook or Pinterest!
Now, enough about moi, let’s see what you did this week!
It can be hard to come up with an original look for a China Hutch but Firefinish shows how to use old Pallet wood to completely change the look of an old standard.
I am loving the gold interior of these old wood bowls from Mary at Orphans with Makeup. The blue against the gold is a beautiful contrast.
I can’t get enough of this color! Sharon from Elizabeth and Company shared this gorgeous dresser in a bold shade of Coral.
This idea is so simple, yet so sweet and perfect. From Making it in the Mountains Scrap wood display for your children’s art work! It could work for a display of photos, or other memorabilia too. Love it.
Now for the fine print. PLEASE READ IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE FEATURED HERE.
Please grab the button (you can copy and link back or grab code HERE) and display this button on your post and link back. Not linking back is kind of like coming to a party, grabbing some food, and never saying “hi” to the hostess. Please be nice! You are a Celebre! Have you been featured? Please feel free to grab the code for the FEATURED! button and display on your blog.

Karen, I am really intrigued about that pig????
LOL Melanie! It is sort of like the mascot at Urban Ore in Berkeley, CA. It migrates around the store. It is fun to find it and have your picture taken in front of it. There is a dragon head too.
Love it! Thanks for the explanation 🙂
Thanks so much for the awesome feature Karen! Very much appreciated!
