Welcome to The Best Linky Party #153! Thank you so much to everyone who linked up last week, so sorry I didn’t have features. But the fundraiser at Paris Flea Market for the Crohns and Colitis foundation was a huge hit! I will be sharing more on how fun and successful this was next week, but here is a sneak peek.
Recap of my week! I found some Gold in the Dumpsters this week! Seriously, the gold chair’s cushion is stuffed with down, and that fabric is silk!!
I shared how I makeover this left for dead on the curb ottoman. It was a really simple project but I loved the end result, and it cost me practically nothing!
Do you follow Redoux on Facebook and Instagram? Follow along and become a “Redouxer”! I am often sharing great work from other “Redouxers”. If you like DIY, want to makeover something, or just love the idea of giving new life to an old piece, then you are a “Redouxer”!
Enough about moi, let’s talk about you! Double features as promised today. Tons of great stuff to see! One more thing! I visited so many of your fabulous sites, but I am working mostly from my Macbook now and for some reason, I cannot comment on blogger blogs. But I can from my other apple devices. If anyone has any quick solutions, I welcome them!
You MUST go see all the details on this post from The Painted Hive. You will not believe what she started with, and how this came to look like the uber cool Specimen Chest it is now. I am in awe. Just when you think you have seen enough furniture hacks, there really is something VERY new under the sun!
I LOVE this desk from Retiqued. What a cute name too! The color is perfect and so is the desk. She also has a headboard and foot board that were painted in the same color and a cute story to go along with that typewrite so head on over and check it out.
Katie from Upcycled Treasures stunned me again. She came up with the coolest office organization system using copper pipes, sprayed out in gold, even those scissors got a makeover! Head over to see the DIY instructions on how she did it.
This is a gorgeous dresser makeover, or should I say, “Save”! From Karin at Art is Beauty. She has a beautiful story about why this piece is important to her, and what she did to salvage the parts that were in good condition. And…she used one of my favorite colors, CeCe Caldwell’s Smokey Mountain Blue on the body of it.
I love Kim at Too Much Time, she is a girl after my own heart, always thinking up great up cycling ideas that are literally out of the box. This is a cardboard box turned industrial storage!! She shows how to make one yourself so head over to check out the deers
Now for the fine print. PLEASE READ IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE FEATURED HERE.
Please grab the button (you can copy and link back or grab code HERE) and display this button on your post and link back. Not linking back is kind of like coming to a party, grabbing some food, and never saying “hi” to the hostess. Please be nice! You are a Celebre! Have you been featured? Please feel free to grab the code for the FEATURED! button and display on your blog.
