Welcome to Weekend DIY Inspiration, Girlfriend’s DIY week 6! Here you get four fabulous DIY projects from my Upcycling friends, and plenty of inspiration for the weekend. Check out what we have in store for you this week!
Tami from Curb Alert is always coming up w ith amazing makeovers. You would not believe how really UGLY this chair was before she completely redid it. I would have not believed the two were the same chair if she didn’t share the befores. Must go see the details!
Katie from Upcycled Treasures dreams up so many fun out of the box projects, this time she used reclaimed wood that dates back to the 1800’s!
Becky from Beyond the Picket Fence came up with this rustically (that’s a word right?) gorgeous planter, and she just made it on the fly! I need some of her Mad building/DIY skills!
Karen (Me!) from Redouxinteriors had this old sewing table in her garage for two years before I finally did something with it. She made it into a side table by using dumpster free wood planks, staining them, and securing them to the top.

Your style is very unique compared to other folks I’ve read stuff from.
I appreciate you for posting when you’ve got the opportunity, Guess I’ll just bookmark this site.
Karen, I gather that you changed your email delivery system, hmm ? I haven’t been able to get my blogs “powered by Google” for weeks now! It’s torture ! Two dozen or so blogs disappeared in one day and only one other blogger has changed her system. YAY for both of y’all !! So glad to read you again ! Thank you for whatever you did. I missed you.
I have not received most of my blogs either! I didn’t know what happened but I miss them too!
Favorite kind of projects!! They are all great! 🙂
