One more thing, today is mom’s birthday!!! Happy Birthday Mom!

Now let’s get to the Best DIY Linky Party #157!

If you have a chop saw around, or know someone that can chop up some old branches, wood posts, etc., then you can make these adorable wood slice thumbtacks from Katie at Upcycled Treasures.

Kim from Too Much Time shares how to get a really crisp, clean edge like the fun stripes she did on this on old bench. She is sharing a new type of paint from Frog Tape.  Why didn’t I see this post before I had some paint pulling disasters with my STILL in progress Black and White Stairs!
I just can’t resist a good desk makeover, especially when it has legs like this one from Firefinish.  Wow did she put a lot of work into it, but so worth it!  It was used by a makeup artist before, so you can imagine all the makeup, glitter, etc that she had to clean up first!
Every year I have the same inner battle.  To buy or not to buy patio furniture.  There is just something I love about taking indoor furniture and making it usable for outside.  Suzanne from Simply Vintageous shows how to do just that!  I love these chairs she will be using for her patio furniture!
Furniture painted for outside
Do you have a bunch of furniture that doesn’t go together but you need it to all look unified?  Lori from Vintage Charm Restored shows how to take mismatched pieces and give them a beautiful, unifying look.  Plus tons of great tips for restoring old furniture!

Wanting to show some skin and amaze an audience but unable to
do so because of your pale skin. Third tip for removing self tanner
is by using lemon juice mixed with kosher salt. This way you can simply wear a light
robe to prevent any post tan smearing issues.
