Dumpster Bowl Turned Halloween Candy Bowl!
Can you stand one more Halloween craft? This is for the EXTREMELY LAST MINUTE PEOPLE.
I picked up this bowl while Dumpster Shopping at Trashy Tuesday several months ago. I knew immediately what it was destined to become. A Dumpster Bowl Turned Halloween Bowl.
As the days grew shorter, and my life got crazier, dumpster bowl collected dust. Looking at the calendar and realizing Halloween is less than 24 hours away, I decided it was now or never.
I grabbed a can of Flat Black Spray Paint and sprayed the bowl with two good passes. When this was dry (and not stinky anymore), I used a White Elmer’s Paint Pen to create a spider web pattern.
Add candy and you are ready for trick or treaters.
If you don’t have a candy bowl for Halloween, check your nearest dumpster and grab a can of black spray paint. I waited two months but the project took me about two minutes. Go figure. Was this a trick, or a treat?
Hope all you Ghouls and Boils have a happy and safe Halloween.
