How to Paint Upholstery and Keep it Feeling Soft

Painting Upholstery and keeping it Soft

Hello friends, I have got a project for you today. Have you tried to paint upholstery before, and it turned out super crunchy? I am here to tell you there is a better way to paint your upholstery and keep it soft.  So soft that the painted upholstery piece will become your new favorite chair to sit in.

I shared a step-by-step tutorial with all the necessary supplies, tips to make your painted upholstery project extra unique, and secrets you won’t find anywhere else. You can grab all the supplies I used here on my supplies page!

As a contributor to The Turquoise Iris Journal, I am also honored to blog for them!  You can find my blog post on How to Paint Upholstery and Keep it Soft at this link, along with tons of other fun, beautiful, and inspiring articles.  I hope you will take a look and let me know what you think and if you will try this project yourself.

Thank you for stopping by; I hope you will subscribe to my newsletter, so you don’t miss a post and all the latest on my junk upcycled from Redoux.  Happy Junking!

I did not know that you could decoupage fabric to fabric! So glad I read your article.

Thank you so much Carla! I have decoupaged fabric several times on painted furniture, I find it easier to work with than paper!
