Redoux interiors started out of necessity. PRE – Internet, can you believe there was such a time?
As a young mom, we had very little “extra” income to create a beautiful home. I began scouring books about painting furniture, creating the “European look” of aged, old layered paint and started experimenting not only on my furniture but my friends who were willing to take a risk along with me.

Happy Sunday friends. Thinking about what brings me joy today. I recently took a dream vacation with 5 other amazing friends to Savannah, GA, all the way from CA! We saw the most incredible historic homes, cemeteries, architectural elements, but what brought me the most joy, was being with friends, some of whom have known me for over 25 years!

As I think about what brings me joy, the top of my list is my my family, but I count my incredible friends as my family too, and they fill me with joy.

I urge you to take a moment today and think about, what really brings you lasting, deep joy.

Love does not mean always agreeing with, condoning, allowing behavior or views that don’t align with your own values and beliefs.

Love allows us to release our own pain and trust that our Father in Heaven knows each of us, and asks us to do the best we can to make this world a better place.

Love allows us to see others as our creator sees us. Our eternal potential, our inherent value and worth of our souls and that we all are on this planet and journey together.

Love is a higher and holier way. I have to remind myself of this eternal truth often. When I chose to live from a place of Love, life becomes infinitely more beautiful and more peaceful.

May we all decide to choose love over hate, love over strife, love over judgment, love over disagreement.
