Thank you so much for all who participated in the link up party. As always, hard to choose!  This week I chose something completely original, and just screams, "Happy", and "Spring" It is this piece from Lucy  at Lucy Designs. Look how she took this ho hum side table, to this fun, and whimsical show piece! I love how she even painted the inside of the drawer! What a fun surprise, when the draw is opened. Makes me so happy.I also wanted to inlcude an honorable mention to Vivienne at the Vspot. She did an awesome tutorial on Chandelier ShadesShe is hilarious, and also has tons of great tips for the hurried crafter/blogger, (me!!!)Please take a minute to stop by both these ...

Friday Redoux Link Up!
It's Friday, and time to show off your "Redouxs". I have been putting the finishing touches on the BIG upholstery project I was doing for a friend, but it is not ready for showtime just yet......a little car trouble, teen drama, and the usual kid chaos side tracked my best intentions to have it finished in time for Friday Redouxs. Instead, I will show you one of my past favorites:I apologize if you have seen this show before.....But if you are new to my blog, then you must know, this was a Free To MeAnd, it was not reupholstered, it was SPRAY PAINTED!!! You can read all about it here:http://redoux.blogspot.com/search/label/Free%20to%20MeNow, show me your best Redouxs! The link will ...
A great Redoux link up!
I had a quiet little link up party.....only 4! They were all four gorgeous too! I think next time I will leave the link up all weekend...Anyhow, thank you so much for those participated. I don't know how people choose when they get tons of furniture and "redouxs", I want to spend time at each picture and linger over the stories. I would have to sit and chat about the choices with a good friend: Speaking of stories, you need to see what Carrie at Fine and Handy did! This is the cutest dresser, but the story was the best part of the makeover. This is what I love most about doing a furniture Redoux, the stories! Sometimes we know the background, and sometimes, we just make it up ...
Friday Redouxs
Thank you, I am just in awe of the creativity of the women around the world. I think I have to put a little one of these next to my computer, so I limit myself to how many great things there are to see and the inspiring talent!Except, I would probably just keep turning it over and over.......Here are some really innovative links this week:This is from Kristy at 4 the Love of WoodThis was made from lots of different pieces, it is so inspiring, you have to go to her site to see the things this woman builds! She does this in her "spare" time too! This amazing piece from Maple and MagnoliaI see these clocks from time to time, and every time, sigh, I fortement désirer (very strongly desire) ...
The most fantastique Redouxs!!!
Joie de vivre!!! Wow, you ladies are a talented bunch. Every single upload was some piece of inspiration, it was hard to narrow it down!  I found some fabulous new blogs to follow. Thank you to everyone who uploaded, you are all very talented. Check out these "femmes fantastiques"This amazing makeover from Vivienne (isn't that the best French girl name?),was by far the most original. I am awe struck.   This clever girl used Cowhide! to makeover the fronts of these drawers. You have to see her link to see the before, someone did a sponging extravaganza, what an amazing Redoux! This was a truly original idea from Maple and MagnoliaThis was a church pew that this clever lady ...
Furniture neglect turned organizer
I got sidelined by technical difficulties, and a few AC problems, so my Redoux that I really wanted to share this week will have to wait. It is gorgeous! But instead, I have a very cool Armoire turned Craft cabinet I made out of scrap pieces of wood, and stuff from old wooden Pallets! This was about the look of the Armoire when we got it, about two years ago: Originally, I had plans to put it in my kid's playroom for a TV Stand. It weight about a bajillion pounds, and the play room, is up stairs, around a corner. So, it stayed in the side yard........for a long time. Fast forward and the weather kind of helped it along. So much so that I decided to make it into a convertible. ...
Old to New Your Great Redoux, Features from Last week
They just keep getting better and better! It doesn't look like the chalk paint movement is slowing down at all! So fun to see the many ways it is being used. Now for " les vainqueurs présentés fantastiques"To begin, we have Kerrie From "Boxers Cleats and me". What an adorable blog she has, and she makes some really neat signs. This is what Kerrie shared with us last week:This adorable little cabinet has more than meets the eye This is what Kerrie had to say of it: "When I first saw it, I thought it was just a regular chest or small buffet. I shouldn't have judged a book by it's cover. The top "drawer" folds down and the "lid" folds up. Inside is a bar. Places for glasses, ...
